Former racing driver Marcos Di Palma, visibly emotional, expressed his gratitude to the people upon arriving in Bahía Blanca with a caravan of trucks loaded with donations for those affected by the storm. Accompanied by hundreds of neighbors, Di Palma recalled that he used to race in Bahía Blanca with his father and said: "I have already received a lot of affection from the people; I am returning what God has done for me."
In a gesture of solidarity, the athlete joined the cleaning campaign led by the municipality of Bahía Blanca, headed by Mayor Federico Susbielles. The cleaning operations involved collaboration from municipal teams, the Armed Forces, the province of Buenos Aires, and volunteers, who dedicated themselves to cleaning streets, removing mud, rubble, and debris left by the flooding.
Di Palma arrived in Bahía Blanca after traveling more than 600 kilometers from Arrecifes, with ten trucks loaded with donations, after facing some mechanical issues along the way. At the Ezequiel Crisol racetrack, the trucks were unloaded to distribute food, mineral water, and cleaning supplies to those affected by the storm.
During his solidarity journey, Di Palma visited various towns collecting donations that included clothing, food, and cleaning supplies. Regarding this, the former driver emphasized: "We cannot save ourselves alone; it is with everyone's help." The expressions of gratitude and encouragement for his solidarity gesture were immediate within the community.
